With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverley Alberta (Ashton) Thompson of Lucknow, Ontario, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Thompson; her parents, Janet Ashton (Ruttan) and Lloyd Ashton; her parents-in-law, Margaret and Campbell Thompson; and her stepmother Eileen Ashton (Lavis).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Caitlin Simpson (Josh Biggs) of Kitchener, Dylan Simpson (Carley Brown) of Princeton, Courtney Balfour (Jordan) of London and Brady Boyd of Lucknow; her brother Fraser Ashton (Catherine) of Gatineau; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Hunter (Murray) of Wingham and Joanne McFarlane of Brampton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Lucknow United Church or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
