She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce MacDonald and Grace MacDonald (Hayden). She is survived by: her husband Don "Spud" Appleby; her children, Dale Appleby, Jen Ascon Ramos, Denise and Jon Brass; her grandchildren, Austin, Jackson, Hayden, Chloe and Lily; and her sisters, Carol Andersson (Paul), Sandi MacDonald (Mark), Nancy Bryant (Dave), Linda Raimondo (Ken), Kathy MacDonald (Brian) and Margaret Peckitt (Appleby). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Humane Society – London & Middlesex, or Jessica's House would be appreciated by the family.
