She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sutherland and Louise Sutherland (Pickering); her brother Leo; and her sister-in-law Sally Hodgins. She is survived by: her husband Alan Hodgins; her children, Ann, John Chalkley of Embro and Lisa Hodgins of Lucan; her grandchildren, Jenna, Amberley (Cody), Shaelin and Hayleigh; her great grandchild Addison; her sister Diane; and her brother-in-law Roy Cornell of Thamesville. She is also survived by her nephews and great-nephews.
