He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald MacGregor and Betty MacGregor (Campbell); and his siblings, Ken, Murray and Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce MacGregor (Smith); his children, Sheri, Darryl Murray, Julie Cooke, Chuck Dempsey, Carrie MacGregor (late Steve Matthews), Steven MacGregor, Ronald and Heather MacGregor; his grandchildren, Justin, Drew, Dylan, Austin, Madison, Mya and Holly; and his siblings, Danny (Cathy MacGregor), Bruce MacGregor, Debbie (Brian Hodgins), Diane MacGregor (Dave Pitcher), Linda MacGregor, Norma Cooper and Mary (Roger Dilworth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
