Alfred Charles De Groot: Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred Charles De Groot: of Lucan, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his parents, Simon and Hennie of Groot; his children, Lisa of Groot, Marc (Cynthia) of Groot, Sarah Hunter (Bryan) and Emily (Tom) of Groot; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Jill, Kaedy, William, Charlie, Lindsay, Alfie, Jacob, Bruce and Billie.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 4:45 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (189 Main St, Lucan, ON N0M2J0). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Wayne and Karen Hodgins (33721 Coursey Line, Lucan, ON N0M2J0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sanctuary London or Anova (London) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
