He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Scott (Gilmour); his parents, Erwin Scott and Alice Scott (Stewart); his siblings, Ruth (Alan Hill), Donald (Edythe Scott) and Douglas (Ann Scott); and his siblings-in-law, Verlyn, Arnold Lindenfield, Jack, Ann Gilmour, Joan Gilmour, Alice Gilmour, Gerald Gilmour and Neil Romphf.

He is survived by: his children, Michael, Marilyn Scott of Arva, Mark and Ann Scott of Lucan; his grandchildren, Kristen (late Rob Galbraith), Taryn, Joe Geurts, Jordan, Meghan Scott, Steven Scott, Laura, Patrick Pryce and Brent Scott; his great grandchildren, Blake, Tessa, Addison, Cohen, Teagan and Emerson; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Romphf and Marg Gilmour. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
