She was predeceased by: her husband William Matthews (Bill) of Loring; and her siblings, Violet Gohm, Mabel Brown, Laura Clark, Hazel Gohm, Verla Smart, Bessie Stillar, Stan and Clarence Forshew.
She is survived by: her children, Gael Soehner (John) of Elmira, Johnny Matthews of Loring, Carol Anne Hartle (Bob) of Lindsay and David Matthews (Audrey) of Powassan; and her sister Edna Robertson (Gordon) of Loring.
