He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Finlayson and Sheila Finlayson; his brother Calvin; and his nephew Eli. He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie of Thunder Bay and Madison of Biigtigong Nishnaabeg; his siblings, Sheldon and Marsha; his uncles, Edward, Paul, John Sr., Justin, James, Derrick and Wayne; his aunt Laura; and his granddaughters, Isabella and Ava. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
