In the sacred silence of farewell, Yvonne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Akit; and her children, Juliana Ramsay (Bruce), Beverley Charles (Wayne Abrahams), Wilhelmina Akit-Mahabir (Jain Mahabir), Richard Akit (Margaret), Elizabeth Mullins (John Cabral), Henrietta Achie (Kelvin) and Anthony Akit.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael's Parish (511 Cheapside St, London, ON N5Y3X5). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
