He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lane and Gladys "Bessie" Lane; and his brother Murray Lane. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lane; his children, Crystal Hopkins (Rob), Danny Lane, Heather Trott (Aaron), Andrew Lane (Kim), Jennifer (Chris) of Putter and Murray Lane; his grandchildren, Aiden Hopkins, Abby Hopkins, Aprilia Vandenbor, Ember Vandenbor, Breeana Oag and Kayla Oag; and his sister Janice Nelson (Murray).
