He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Ellen; his parents, Gwyn and Isabella; his siblings, Robert (Ellen) and Gwyneth (Allan Angle); and his former wife Joan.

He is survived by: his significant other Tony Cottle; his son David (Slava); his siblings, Ian (Sharon) and Nadine Archer; and his nieces and nephews, Hilarie, Melanie, Dawn, Karen, Barbara, Ian and Gregory.
