He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Carrothers; his siblings, Graydon, Grant, Bob and Wilma Gilbert; and his parents, Jack Carrothers and Ruby Carrothers (Prior).
He is survived by: his children, Ron Carrothers (Margareth) of Fernie, B. C. and Lynda Elley (Mark) of Texas; his grandchildren, Deanna (Bratcher) and Jeremy (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Blake and Chloe; and his sister-in-law Gladys Carrothers.
