He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. William Grasett Hagarty and Mary Kinney of Boston, Mass.; his wife Evelyn; his siblings, John, Ted, Ken and Jacqueline Riddell; and his son Gerard.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Sue Strain (Terry) of Calgary; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Hagarty (Ted) and Jack Riddell; his children, Maura Bannon (Murray) of South Carolina, Megan Hagarty Smith (Geoff) of Oakville Ontario, Sean, Catherine of London, Dr. Sarah Hagarty (Kevin Draxinger) of Rockford and Illinois; and his friend Cal Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Occupational Therapy, Veterans's Care Program, St Joseph's Health Foundation would be appreciated.
