He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Brown and Dorothy Brown; his son Terry; and his siblings, Tom and Debbie.

He is survived by: his wife Emily Brown (Dykeman); his children, Wes Jr. and Shannon; his stepchildren, Alyson, Aaron and Shawna; his grandchildren, Max, Kyle, Jackson, Tyson, Jessica, Trenton, Paige, Brooke, Harley, Ben, Sadie and AJ; and his sister Anne Shepherd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
