She was predeceased by: her spouse Cochrane "Tom" Watton; her daughter Sharon Steele; and her brothers, George and Gordon Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Mike Steele (Colleen), Diane Allen (late Matt), Randy Steele (Linda), Holly Kelly (Jim) and Robin Steele (Kim).

“I'm going to miss everything about Mrs. Watton . She was someone that always was there with love , care & kindness . A very strong lady , no matter what life dealt her . I will miss her pleasant personality & how she enjoyed family & friends . I was always greeted with a smile & hug , which I will treasure in my many memories of our times together . Our conversations were interesting & very enjoyable . As I said , I'm going to miss everything about her , God has chosen a genuine Angel . My condolences to all.”
