He was predeceased by: his wife Fern Scott; his close friend Ruth Foster; his parents, Edward Bartley and Mary Adeline (Addie); and his siblings, Bartley (Viola), Malcolm (Mary), Agnes Mason (Earl), Dorothy Leslie (Bob) and Edna Lawrence (Reg).

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sandy Mills, Judy Wood, Gloria Campbell and Kathy Fortin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
