He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie (Heard); and his son Anthony. He is survived by: his son Mark; his grandchildren, Crystal, Tyler, Brittany, Mark Jr. and Carter; his great grandchildren, Jamie, Abby, Noah, Madison, Jack, Taylor, Avery, Charlie, Claire and Kenna; and his sister-in-law Betty.
