He is survived by: his wife Emily Van Houtte (Pope) of London; his children, Douglas and Allison Van Houtte; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Liam; his siblings, Dan, Sandra of London, Simon, Stefan, Yana, Sam, Kyle, Adelaide, Bob, Ethel of Chalk River, Dr. Elizabeth Van Houtte, Dennis Rizzo of Orillia, Ariana, Zoe, Ron of Orillia, Garrett, Alexis and B. C.; and his godmother Betty Van Houtte.
