He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Schell and Dorothy "Dode" Schell. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Schell; his sons, Chris (Cathann) and Kent; his granddaughter Lyla; and his siblings, Judy Lambert (Doug), Donna Lane (Rick) and Rick Schell (Margie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
