He was predeceased by: his son Stefanos; his daughter-in-law Nicole; his nephew Louis Demopoulos; and his parents, Stefanos Makris and Vasiliki Makris.
He is survived by: his wife Aglaia; his children, Vasiliki Babalis (Jim), Efrocine Makris and Georgia Vilos (Lefteris); his siblings, Eleni and Aggelis; and his nephew Jim Demopoulos.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (131 Southdale Rd W, London, ON N6J2J2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (493 Springbank Dr, London, ON N6J1H3).
