He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorna Monteith; his children, Hugh, Gloria, Janice, Barry Abbott, Nancy, George Bergsma, Lianne and Jim Todd; his grandchildren, Robin, Todd Herriman, Craig Abbott, Shau, Dawn, Guy Miskelly, Gail, Jason Stafford, Cheryl Monteith, Sean, Geoff Bergsma, Alissa, Chris McCleave, Emily Bergsma, Adam, Eveline Todd and Stewart Todd; his great grandchildren, Riley, Rhys, Jesse, Madeline, Liam, Nathalie, Nicole, Mikayla, Nolan and Dillon; his siblings, Velma (Eric Pulham), Mary (Leverne Scott), Doris Hinge, Larry Monteith (Evelyn) and Bill McPherson; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen, Gordon Monteith, Margaret and Trevor Sutton. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
