He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sims and Darla Sims; and his grandson Noah. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Leanna "Mew Mew" (Joe), Crystal (Terry), Nathan and Alexis; his grandchildren, Landen, Owen, Abel, Patrick, Holly, Jackson and Hunter; his brother Robert; his mother-in-law Carole; his sister Lisa; his brother-in-law Vince; his nephews, Brian and Justin; his niece Christina; and also Mary (Brian).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1997 Dundas St, London, ON N5V1P6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (1320 Wilton Ave, London, ON N5W2G8).
