Simonne Elizabeth Woods Obituary

We are sad to announce that she passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 16, 2023 at the age of 80 at her residence at Maple View Terrace.

Born in Duart Kent Co., Simonne was the daughter of the late Rene and Elodie (Poelvoorde) Deseure.

Beloved wife of 52 yrs to the late Norman Woods (2016).

Loving mother of Martyn Woods (Kathy), Dave Woods (Ginna) and Tammy Goyeau (late Dave 2016).

Proud Nana to Michael Goyeau, Jessica Goyeau (Jackson), Dan Holden and Meagan Thisdelle.

Proud Great Nana to Kalista (Reed), Mariah, Bentley and Emily.

Dear Sister to Yvonne Lavigne (Jack), late Jane Neil (late Frank) and sister-in-law to Ruth Hodgson (Wayne), John Woods and Tania Ellis (Lavern). She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews Cremation has taken place. Internment at Forest Lawn Cemetery on September 8, 2023 @3 pm.
