She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic Carere; and her brother Jack Milner. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Carere (Lori) of London and Ellen Carere of London; her grandchildren, Jason (Erica), Matthew (Alaina) and Ashley (Connor); and her brother-in-law Joseph Carere. She is also survived by her 4 great-grandchildren.
