She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Alexander and Margaret Alexander; her brother Barry Alexander; and her father-in-law Ray Merkley. She is survived by: her husband David Merkley; her son Mike Merkley (Nadia); her grandchildren, Lucca and Bianca; her siblings, Janice Schmidt and Peter Alexander; and her mother-in-law Ruth. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
