He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob and Sophia; and his brothers, Bob and Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Gwen (Tye); his sons, Ryan (Patti) and Craig (Brenda); his grandchildren, Mitch (Nicole), Shelby (Mitchell), Josh, Kenzie (Gavin) and Noah; his great grandchildren, Christopher and Jack; his siblings, Margaret Ball of Woodstock, John Ludington (Gloria) of Tillsonburg and Wayne Ludington (Linda) of Tucson Arizona; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Ludington, Ken Tye (Deb) of Oshawa and Tom Patterson of Ancaster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Woodstock Hospital Foundation in Ron's name would be appreciated by the family.
