He was predeceased by: his grandson Brent Secord. He is survived by: his wife Eda; his sister Sandra Nelson; his children, Mike Hermant (Lydia), London, Karen Hermant (Jimmy Roy), Schumacher and Steve Hermant (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Marissa Vien (Tyler), Kyle Lawrence, Ryan Hermant, Cameron Dupuis, Maija and Anya Hermant.
