He is survived by: his wife Mary Laird; his daughter-in-law Ruth Laird; his grandchildren, Iain, Logan, Liam and Hayden; and his siblings, Maisie Wilson of Scotland, Tom Laird of Scotland, Donna Jones of Scotland and Heather Stewart of Scotland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
