He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph French and Doremy French; and his siblings, Susan, Christopher and Lori.

He is survived by: his wife Ivy; his stepchildren, Roy, Rosemary and Susan; and his stepgrandchildren, Wesley, Madison, Katherine, Samantha, Olivia and Eleni.
