Jon Pepers lit a candle

“In loving memory of Robert Ketelaars, I'm going to miss our phone calls, and even the annoying way you used to call back five times if I didn't answer right away. I'll miss you Buddy, I hope you have a great Harley under you and clear roads ahead. I'll be seeing you sometime and we'll go on that ride we talked about. Save a nice Harley for me.”

Elizabeth QII wrote a sympathy message

“I have known Barry/Bear/Robert for 50 years. We both had a love of motorcycles which never faded. Bear loved dressing up in his Western gear; hats, boots, outback oilskin duster coat. He used to say that he was born in the wrong century, but he was a Trekki, too, so, which century is the question. Bear loved his son Shawn. He worried about him all the time. I'm going to try to keep in touch. Bear was a good Buddy. I'm glad I got to say goodbye. I'll miss him. Jon and Elizabeth Pepers”
