He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Wood (Nelson) and Albert Wood; his siblings, Shirley and Jack; and his daughter Jean King.
He is survived by: his close friend Murphy; his wife Mary; his daughter Gillian (Terry); his pet Murphy; and his siblings, Dorothy (Jerry) and Thomas (Donna). He is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
