He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Short; his parents, Rose and Gabriel; and his sister Carol Ferguson (Don Sawyer). He is survived by: his son Eric (Emily); his grandchildren, Michael and Giuliana; and his brother Dan Sorrentino (Sue).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (1559 Fanshawe Park Rd E, London, ON N5X3Z9). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
