He was predeceased by: his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Donna Warner; and his brother Bill Warner. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Warner; his sons, Scott Warner (Anneliesje) of Mississauga, John Warner (Wendy) of Ingersoll and Tim Warner (Michele) of London; his grandchildren, Ryan Warner (Natasha), Erica Warner-Moir (Adam Moir), Nicholas Warner, Portia Warner and Kurtis Warner; his great grandchildren, Harper Moir, Remington Warner, Hannah Moir and Olivia Warner; and his siblings-in-law, Bunny Warner, Joyce and John Leal. He is also survived by his family, friends.
