He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Thomas and Gladys Jean Mary Collins (Levi); his parents-in-law, Joseph Felix and Josie Couture (Swackhamer); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Swackhamer, Jamie Couture, Lyle Miller, Gary Rawlins and Lynn Couture.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Collins (Couture); his children, Charles "Chuck" (Karrie Collins), Rebecca (Collins) and Gregg Gilmore (Gordon Collins); his grandchildren, Amanda, Derrick Nethercott, Rachel, Chad Doran and Abigail "Abi" Collins; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey and Harper; and his siblings, Jim (Jacintha Collins), Tom (Lorraine Collins), Katie Swackhamer of London, Ruthanne Miller of Cottam, Ruby (Bill Vander Veen) of Cottam, Rachel of Cottam, Ed Gibbs of Cottam, Rita (Gord Duncan) of Cottam, Rose Rawlins of Cottam and Joe Couture of Cottam. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
