He was predeceased by: his parents, August Mackoske and Sade Mackoske (Wrightman); his wife Ruth Harriet Mackoske (Smith); his siblings, Ed, Jean Turlukowski and Don; his niece Patricia Myers; and his nephews, Michael Turlukowski and Paul Dykeman.

He is survived by: his nephew Paul Turlukowski (Mary) of Howell, Michigan; his stepson Wayne Stonehouse (Barbara) of Camlachie; his stepgrandchildren, Rob Stonehouse of Camlachie and Shari Thompson (Michael) of Hamilton, Ontario; his stepdaughter Kathy Wood (late Larry) of Ingersol; his stepgrandsons, Jeff, Darin and Alan; his nephews, Bob Dykeman (Christine) of London and Stephen Dykeman of London, Ontario.; and his cousins, Mac, Anne Lilley, Don, Dutch Lilley and Wrightman. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
