She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Ramgobin Sonny Chand; her son-in-law Dr. Allan Jathoo; and her grandson Alan Jathoo. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Janki Bingham, Maureen Jathoo, Desmond Chand and Rob Chand; her children-in-law, Pat, Deepa Chand and Dr. Douglas Bingham; and her grandchildren, Devanand Janki, Donald Bingham, Dr. Melissa Chase, Rohan, Avani Chand and Dr. Taylor Chase (Alison Bingham). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
