He was predeceased by: his parents, Lount and Alberta; and his siblings, Larry, Tim, Judy and Susan.

He is survived by: his wife Johanna; his children, Peter (Michelle), Lonnie (Kim) and Ed (Theresa); his stepson Keith Goulet; and his sister Sharon McLay (Ron). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
