He was predeceased by: his spouse Carina Jacobsen; his daughter Christina Mayhew; his siblings, Andreas (Karin) of Germany and Thomas (late Hertha) of Germany; and his parents, Anna Jacobsen and Thomas Jacobsen.
He is survived by: his children, Erik Jacobsen (Birgit) and Anita Jacobsen; his son-in-law Brent Mayhew (Angela); his grandchildren, Nicolai, Tatiana Jacobsen, Ian, Paul Bennett, Peter and Robert Mayhew; his siblings, Christian (Mariechen) of Germany, Margarethe of Germany and Werner Jacobsen (Ruth) of Germany; and his family Holt.
