He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Francis and Margaret Neary (Dalton); his siblings, John, Stephen, Gerald, Margaret Durkin and Mary; his niece Paula; and his nephews, Gerald and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Hilary (Bates); his sons, Nicholas (Kristine Spekkens) and John (Sonja Babovic); his grandchildren, Ella, Charlie Neary, Colin Neary and Lillian Nickerson; his sister Anne Reed (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Janet, Karen Neary, Andrea Zucca, Stephanie, Monique, Pierre Neary, Rodney Parsons, John Durkin, Brenda and David Reed; his sister-in-law Rosemary Bates Terry; and his nieces-in-law, Sarah Iwakabe and Hilary Bolton.
