He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha (Berte); his parents, Doris Grandy and Robert P. Grandy of Halifax; and his sister Marie. He is survived by: his sister JoAnn of London; his children, Lindy (Lynn Gamble) of Coldstream, Meredith (Robert Hartzog) of Houston, Texas, Kevin (Ramona) of Niagara, Clay (Joan) of London, Colin (Holly) of London and Graeme of Grand Bend; his grandchildren, Jenna, Jaime, Luke, Brady, Shannon, Kraig, Kyle, Tom, Rob, Matt, Heather, Nick, Amy and Sarah; and his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Jaxon, Danica, Iya, Kayden, Kaley, Chase, Mason, Kendall and Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations made to Society of Saint Vincent de Paul or Sisters of St Joseph in Canada.
