“Nick was a life long friend when my sister Mary introduced him to our crazy family in willowdale i 1953 Nick helped me choose and buy my first Bass a three quarter blonde Kay at Whalley and Royce Nick took my place on Bass with Tommy Danton and the Echoes when I left the band I can still see Nick with a caster in the pinhole of the Bass strolling down Yonge street playing with a brass band at the grey cup parade mno one could hear the bass it’s a marching he said it got me into the game free”
