She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her children, Marisa Pyatt and Pierre Simler; and her siblings, Leonardo Vella, Frederick Vella, Mary Fenech, Arthur Vella, Louis Vella and Josephine Cass.

She is survived by: her daughter Isabelle Simler; her children-in-law, Louise Simler and Curtis Pyatt; her grandchildren, Kiana Simler, Jasmine Miskus, Don-Erik, Kailyn, Wesley Pyatt, Shannon and Sasha Simler; and her great grandchildren, Ryder and Saje Camara.
