She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Henry and Catharine Agnes Martell; her husband Gerald Blake Anthony Austin; and her siblings, Peter Henry Martell, Ethel and Lucille of Cape Breton.

She is survived by: her children, Richard, Peter, James, John and Natalie; her grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Keri-Lynn, Mitchell, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Chantelle and Anthony; and her great grandchildren, Daphne, Abel and Gannon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
