She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Howard Calvin Friesen; her parents, Bishop William and Kathleen Townshend; her siblings, John (Ruth), Robert, Bill, Jim and Eleanor Monture (Harold); and her parents-in-law, Bob Foster, Gordon Ullerick, Luetta Sharpley, Art Wilson, Leona, Colin, Alfred and Gordon Friesen.

She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Foster, Barbara Ullerick, Peggy Utting and Nancy Lougheed; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Townshend, Pat Townshend, Eleanor Wilson, Muriel Friesen and Douglas Friesen (Doreen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
