She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecile Chevalier and Edgar Chevalier; her stepfather Bernie Leonard; and her siblings, Theresa Joinville (Robert) and James Chevalier.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Costea; her children, Thomas (Joanne), Kenneth, Janice (Raymond) and Mary Ann; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Anna), Brian, Megan, Stephen, Daniel, Emily and Duncan; and her sister-in-law Carole Chevalier. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Justin's Parish (855 Jalna Blvd, London, ON N6E2S2). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Windsor Memorial Cemetery (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N9G1A4).
