Margaret Mae Grierson Obituary

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved wife to the late Paul Grierson (1993). Cherished mother to Tanya Weiler (Todd). Adoring Grandmother to Theo. She also joins her late companion, Don Miles. She will be greatly missed by many extended family and a large network of friends.

Margaret worked as receptionist for General Motors for over 37 years. Hers was that warm voice you'd hear every time you called. Marg retired in 1992. Taking care of family was her primary joy in life, and it was a gift she steadfastly and expertly gave freely, including as a primary caregiver to her uncle, and her sister. Her loving care also extended to many pets, especially her dog, Bo.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2024 from 5:00-8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Guests will be welcomed back on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 for visitation 10:00-11:00am with a funeral service starting at 11:00am. A private interment will take place at a later date at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to VON Middlesex-Elgin.
