She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Pacheco; her daughter Eduarda Teixeira; and her parents, Maria Pacheco and Manuel Simas. She is survived by: her son Genio Simas; her sister Margarita Couto; her son-in-law Dinarte Teixeira; her grandchildren, John Teixeira, Stephen Teixeira (Tracy), Suzanne Teixeira and Chris Ward; her great grandchildren, Taylor Teixeira, Keegan Teixeira, Julia Petrie and Kate Petrie; and her pet Mazzi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
