He was predeceased by: his mother Tena; and his son Ben. He is survived by: his daughter Tena; his siblings, Casey Pieterson (Alemka Mahalec) and Martha Pieterson-Bondy (David Bondy); his niece Tammie; his nephews, Eric and Colin; and his friends, Doug Lewis and Bruce Fleming.
