He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverley; his son Neal Pasternak of London; his grandson Alexander; and his brothers, Morris and Ron. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at 534 Huron St, London, ON N5Y4J6. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shalom Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the London Regional Cancer Program.
