She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; her parents, Robert Calder and Eva Jean Calder (McGee); and her sisters, Una Amos Brown and Julia Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Taruvinga (Ranga), Swaziland, Susan Hearst, Hamilton, Sheila Sharer, Claire Coward (Clayton) and Marvin Patience (Joanne); her grandchildren, Kanyadzo Taruvinga Middleton (Avon), Maita Taruvinga Skyle (Reagan), Hamandishe Taruvinga (Giselle), Nyemu Taruvinga Seye (Babacar), Ryan Coward (Lara), Leisa Coward Wall (Brett), Dianne Coward LeBlanc (Jason), Ashley Patience Arts (Harrie), Jordan Patience (Rachel) and Kale Patience (Bridget); her sisters, Donna McCall and Marion Hayhurst; and her great grandchild Charles. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren.
